Spring Thaw Gala – Boys and Girls Club Twin Cities

I’m honored to be working with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities as an event photographer. Here are a few photos from their recent Spring Thaw event (March 7th – my last event before the pandemic) at the new beautiful Quincy Hall. The band Consolation Champ was awesome!

The event was catered by CRAVE American Kitchen & Sushi Bar. I loved their creativity with the food and making it easy for people to grab and mingle.

See Them Shine – Art Gallery

It’s been so inspiring to work with Art of Edina and Jill Emmer. Jill is the Director of Art of Edina which provides public space and funding for rising and established artists to display their art. I am the social media manager and event photographer.

Here are a few photos from our recent “See Them Shine” launch party at The Hilltop Restaurant. This project features free-spirited citizens of Edina. Jill captured 12 photos representing each month. The photos are hanging up at The Hilltop through the holidays. You can also purchase a calendar of the photos at The Hilltop or the Edina Senior Center. 100% of the proceeds go to the Art of Edina non-profit partners: Edina Senior Center and Senior Community Services.

Gala for Good

Highlights from the Gala for Good! I always enjoy working with Ann Plans. Ann and her team create amazing events for non-profits. They are organized, supportive, and there’s always a creative surprise. At the Gala for Good, my favorite surprise was the Champagne Dress Performer. (see below)

Goodwill-Easter Seals Minnesota celebrated 100 years as leaders in workforce development. Attendees enjoyed a lively cocktail reception, gourmet dinner, participant stories, snapshots of historical milestones and an exciting look to the future.

NE Minneapolis Dog Parade – Minnesota

Her face says it all!

The NE community always looks forward to the annual Northeast Minneapolis Dog Parade. They gather at the Historic Main Street Park where there are dog treats, samples and activities. After about 30 minutes, they line up and walk the neighborhood. Below are a few photos that I captured for Steven Scott Management and The M on Hennepin.

Weekend Plans? Local Art – Minneapolis

I had a blast taking photos at the opening celebration of The Analog Difference Art Exhibition located in the retail space at 700 Central! Gallery hours this weekend are Saturday and Sunday, May 18 & 19, 1-6pm. Art-A-Whirl is also happening in Northeast Minneapolis! Did you know that Art-A-Whirl is the largest open studio tour in the country? Tons of local art with the opportunity to meet the artists, local food and live music! Four artists are featured in the 700 Central exhibit: Ben Holmberg, Jess Zottola, Jonathon Rosemond, and Sarah Nicole. The artists all possess different aesthetic and conceptual points of view within various presentations.
